What God Showed Me On Sunday

I was listening to my Dad speak on Sunday. Here are my notes:

What did God show me today? That Jesus could have come to Earth with all the wonders a king would have, but He didn't. He came as a little dude in diapers, so that He could die in my place. Why would a king die for his citizens? Why would God come as a baby? Why would the Creator of the world step down from His throne to save a broken world? Because He loved me! And He wanted me to live with Him forever even though I did not deserve it! The world who didn't want God and actually killed God got and invitation to live with Him and be a part of his family. We should have gone to hell, but God said, "I forgive you. You're my kid now and I love you!" He saved us from hell and picked us for His team:-)

Merry Christmas!

Friendship From God's Perspective

Friendship is a great thing to share with someone, but friendship is special... it's not something you want to let go of. In middle school your emotions are crazy! It's like you're on a roller coaster up and down and all around. Don't push your true friends away to hang out with people who you think are cool because usually you end up walking the wrong path.

Don't try to be someone you're not. Just be you own dawg!

If your friends don't accept you just think about what God thinks about you because God calls you His masterpiece! Don't gossip because that only separates the closest of friends. God is always another amazing friend to look to!

Listen 2 Your Best Friend

Listening to your best friend, Jesus, is most important because He will give you helpful little hints that you can use for life. Don't be afraid to talk to God just how you would talk to a friends because God likes to talk to you just like any other friend does. When you feel sad and like no one cares just go someplace nobody else is at and have a little chat with Him because Jesus will catch you every time you fall or mess up because He is a forgiver.

Go to the ultimate Friend... JESUS!
